A spacious 7 berth left-hand drive Miller Alabama built in 2006. The sleeping spaces make use of 2 rear bunk beds, a double over cab bed, a double and single conversion in the dinette/lounging area. There are a total of 6 travel seats, 2 of which are captains seats in the cab. The dining area is a large communal space with high quality wood and a blue laminate top tables, and comfy cloth seats. This is the perfect size for a large family.
Toward the rear are the main kitchen and washroom area. The kitchen is ruined with a gas hob burner, extractor fan, a large sink, oven and grill unit, and a full size automatic 3-way fridge and separated freezer, that utilises gas, mains electric and 12V power. The automatic mode will chose the energy source dependant on what the owner is doing with the vehicle. Additionally, this unit features a heater element that sits around the seal of the freezer, allowing it to become unstuck if it gets too cold. Opposite is a large washroom area, equipped with a spacious shower tray, splash proof curtains, a cassette toilet, an integrated sink, large mirror, windows, ventilation and storage space.
Directly above the centre habitation is a Dometic air conditioning unit which is especially useful in the warm periods. Over the cab door is the master panel, which controls all the internal electrics, appliances and utilities. It provides master isolation (on/off), light control, water pump isolation, electric heater, battery and water voltage and volume levels, navigational arrows to browse a variety of settings and battery selection, and finally an obsolete AUX button should the owner wish to wire an appliance to the panel.
Over in the cab, the Alabama motorhome features all the traditional features. This vehicle is a left hand drive, but the doesn’t stop the drive being incredibly smooth. A 5-speed manual gearbox is in use, and there are features such as recirculation, demist, 12V sockets, fan blower, a pioneer radio and traditional car features. The motorhome also features electric mirrors and windows.
